Der heute verkostete Filey Bay Flagship Single Malt ist ein Whisky aus der englischen Spirit Of Yorkshire Destillerie. In der noch jungen Brennerei wird erst seit 2019 Whisky hergestellt. Der Whisky hat keine Altersangabe und wird mit 46% abgefüllt. Die Nase ist eher zurückhaltend mit etwas Marzipan und dezenten Fruchtnoten. Agitator The Swedish Malt (Schweden)
Heute kam ein Single Malt aus der Agitator Destillerie in Schweden in mein Glas. In der Brennerei werden auch Rum und Gin hergestellt. Der Whisky mit dem Beinamen "The Swedish Malt" wird vakuumdestilliert und reift in ehemaligen Bourbon- und Sherryfässern. Der Whisky wird ohne Altersangabe mit 43% abgefüllt. Two Stacks Double Barrel Single Grain (Irland)
Nach einer knapp vierjährigen Pause kommt heute ein irischer Single Grain Whiskey des unabhängigen Abfüllers Two Stacks in mein Glas. Two Stacks wurde 2020 gegründet und arbeitet mit verschiedenen Destillerien zusammen. Dieser Whiskey reifte in ex-Bourbon und ex-Sherry Fässern und wurde mit 43% ohne Altersangabe abgefüllt. Der Double Barrel Single Grain wurde bei den World Whiskey Awards als Gewinner in der Kategorie "Best Non-Age Statement Single Grain" ausgezeichnet.
