Macallan Elegancia 12y 1990/2002 (Schottland, Speyside)
Unlängst bekam ich bei einem Familienbesuch überraschend einen Macallan Elegancia angeboten. Der Whisky wurde 1990 gebrannt, reifte in Oloroso- und Fino-Sherry-Fässern und wurde 2002 mit 40% abgefüllt. Bei der Abfüllung handelte es sich um eine Flasche aus dem Travel-Retail Bereich. Im Glas ist der Whisky dunkelgold mit einem Stich Kupfer. Die Nase ist fruchtig und mild mit viel Orangen. Dazu Vanille, etwas Schokolade und Toffee. Unter der Regie von Francis Lawrence ("Constantin", "Die Tribute von Panem - Catching Fire / Mockingjay", "Wasser für die Elefanten", "I Am Legend") entstand der Spionage-Thriller "Red Sparrow". Der Film basiert auf dem gleichnamigen Roman von Jason Matthews. Das Drehbuch wurde von Justin Haythe geschrieben. Die Handlung beginnt in Russland. - 2020 - Volume 6 of the "Progressive By Nature" series was mixed mid-2020 after the first wave of the Corona-Lockdowns.
