- 2016 - "Grooves - Volume 5" dates back to early summer 2016. The compilation features tracks from some of the usual suspects like Kraak & Smaak, Skeewiff, The Torpedo Boyz and Smoove as well as some lesser known artists. The Drum'n'Bass Version "Dub Of A Preacherman" by Count Skylarkin & Harvey K-Tel is plain fun, although purists probably will start to rip their hair off right away. - 2016 - Grooves - Volume 4 was compiled in June 2016 and kicks off with the wonderful track "Viene De Mi" by Argentinian artist La Yegros followed by "Enter The Esperanto" produced by the excentric but entertaining Captain Planet. By that time I was also discovering some really cool artists mainly working in the re-edit and mashup community. Tracks like "Jivin' Num-Num", "Regulate Your Aperetif!", "Chiguaga", "Carmen" and "King Soul-Omon's Mine" are crafted using modern beats and samples of older tracks. - 2016 - The summer promo mix 2016 was another of those weird mixes recorded during a period of self-discovery (in terms of electronic music that is). The result is a very unfocused mix with some strong tracks (like Terr's "Metropolis" or the Carlo Lio Remix of "Reis"). The first few tracks (Matthias Meyer's Remix of "Brun" and Baldo's Remix of "Easy Out") gave a hint in which direction my "Progressive By Nature" Mixes would develop over the next few years.
