The third edition of “Papa Jay Unmixed – Grooves” was created in mid 2015.

Compared to the first volumes I partially used newer material and some rather old (we are talking about the 1970s here) tunes like “The Pinoccio Theory” by legendary funk artist Bootsy Collins and “Vitamin C” by the experimental electronic/rock band Can.

Alex Rizzo & Elliot Ireland aka Skeewiff are featured twice with more or less recent material at that time. Two remixes are taken from the very groovy album “Bossa Nova Just Smells Funky” by Bahama Soul Club. In addition enjoy tracks from the Thievery Corporation, Kraak & Smaak, Thunderball, JFB, Basement Freaks, The Bas Lexter Ensample, Chris Joss, Kava Kava and the wonderful duo Mako & Mr. Bristow.
