Die Brennerei geh\u00f6rt zum Getr\u00e4nkekonzern Diageo und produzierte bis Mitte der 1970-iger Jahre Whisky f\u00fcr die Herstellung von Blends. Dieser Auchroisk wurde 2005 destilliert und 2016 im von Gordon &amp; McPhail im Rahmen \u201cConnoisseurs Choice\u201d-Reihe mit 46% abgef\u00fcllt.<\/p>\n<p>Im Glas hat der Whisky eine sehr helle Farbe (hellgold, Stroh) und eine leicht \u00f6lige Konsistenz.<\/p>\n<p>In der Nase konnte ich s\u00fc\u00dfe \u00c4pfel, Vanille und Himbeeren erkennen. Nach einiger Zeit waren Toffee Aromen wahrnehmbar.<\/p>\n<p>Im Mund ist der Whisky cremig, warm und \u00fcberraschend kr\u00e4ftig. S\u00fc\u00dflicher Honig und fruchtige Aromen (Himbeeren) vermischen sich mit Gew\u00fcrzen und und ganz wenig Salz und Eiche. Am Ende wird der Auchroisk etwas bitter.<\/p>\n<p>Der Abgang ist mittellang bis lang, warm und bitters\u00fc\u00df mit Honig<\/p>\n<p>Der Auchroisk hat mir ganz gut geschmeckt, hat aber keinen bleibenden Eindruck bei mir hinterlassen.
