Erz\u00e4hlt wird die Geschichte des polnischen Einwanderers Leonard Chess (Adrien Brody), der durch harte Arbeit und ein untr\u00fcgerisches Gesp\u00fcr f\u00fcr gute Musik den legend\u00e4ren Label “Chess Records” gr\u00fcndet und damit Gr\u00f6\u00dfen wie Muddy Waters (Jeffrey Wright), Little Walter (Columbus Short), Chuck Berry (Mos Def) und Etta James (Beyonc\u00e9 Knowles) eine Heimat bot. Inmitten von Rassendiskrimnierung und Vorurteilen wurde in den 50-igern und 60-igern eine wichtiges St\u00fcck Musikgeschichte geschrieben. Aus Blues, Soul und R&B entstanden die fr\u00fchen Formen des Rock’n’Roll – schwarze Musik, die es vermochte die Wei\u00dfen zu begeistern…<\/p>\n

Das Bild der Blu-ray ist gut bis sehr gut. Der deutsche DTS-HD MA Sound konnte mich leider nicht ganz \u00fcberzeugen – hier h\u00e4tte ich mir etwas mehr Surround Sound gew\u00fcnscht. Die Extras sind durchaus sehenswert.<\/p>\n

Mein Fazit: “Cadillac Records” hat mir grunds\u00e4tzlich gut gefallen, l\u00e4sst aber einen wirklichen H\u00f6hepunkt vermissen. Die Musik vermag zu begeistern, h\u00e4tte allerdings eine akkustisch dominantere Pr\u00e4sentation verdient.<\/p>\n
