In der Hauptrolle liefert Denzel Washington eine \u00fcberzeugende Darbietung &#8211; gekonnt unterst\u00fctzt von Gegenspieler Gary Oldman.<\/p>\n<p>Der Film erz\u00e4hlt die Geschichte eines einsamen Wanderers, der sich allen Gefahren zum Trotz von seinem Glauben leiten und nicht vom Weg abbringen l\u00e4\u00dft. Sein Ziel ist es, ein besonderes Buch zu besch\u00fctzen bzw. an einen bestimmten Ort zu bringen. Als er in einer Siedlung auf den dortigen Anf\u00fchrer Carnegie trifft, ger\u00e4t er und seine Mission in Gefahr. Obwohl der Film manchmal etwas langatmig wirkt, wissen die kraftvollen Bilder und der gelungene Soundtrack zu gefallen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Bildqualit\u00e4t ist mehr also solide und \u00fcber weite Strecken sehr gut.
