Das Familienunternehmen ist im s\u00fcdlichen Waldviertel beheimatet und produziert Fruchtdestillate und Whiskies aus Hafer und Dinkel. Zur Verkostung erstand ich in Grafenegg zwei kleine Flaschen und so konnte ich den Weidenauer Dinkelwhisky erstmals verkosten. Der Whisky hat keine Altersangangabe und wurde mit 42% abgef\u00fcllt.<\/p>\n<p>Im Dezember 2016 habe ich den Whisky erstmals verkostet. Ziemlich genau ein Jahr sp\u00e4ter war der Waldviertler erneut im Glas.<\/p>\n<p>In der Nase anfangs eher zur\u00fcckhaltend mit s\u00fc\u00dflichen Getreidenoten und Fr\u00fcchten (Fruchtkompott, Pfirsich, sp\u00e4ter Birne). Dazu gesellen sich deutliche Vanillearomen.<\/p>\n<p>Geschmacklich dominieren cereale S\u00fc\u00dfe und Vanille. Eine leichte Sch\u00e4rfe ist auf der Zunge wahrnehmbar.<\/p>\n<p>Der Abgang ist eher kurz s\u00fc\u00dflich, etwas fruchtig mit Vanille<\/p>\n<p>Am n\u00e4chsten Tag waren im Glas Aromen von verbranntem Holz und Vanille. (Bei der zweiten Verkosten waren es Zitrusnoten und Vanille)<\/p>\n<p>Der Weidenauer Dinkelwhisky hat mir gut geschmeckt und macht Lust, auch die anderen Whiskies der Familien Weidenauer zu probieren.
