Vor einiger Zeit habe ich den\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plur.at\/?p=5815\">10-j\u00e4hrigen Benromach<\/a>\u00a0verkostet, der mir sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Erst k\u00fcrzlich war der\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plur.at\/?p=6141\">Benromach Peated Smoke<\/a>\u00a0zum Verkosten in meinem Glas. Heute habe ich eine kleine Flasche des Benromach Organic ge\u00f6ffnet. Der Whisky wurde 2008 destilliert und anschlie\u00dfend in neuen Eichenf\u00e4ssern gelagert. 2014 wurde der Benromach Organic dann mit 43% abgef\u00fcllt. Die Herstellung erfolgt gem\u00e4\u00df der Vorgaben der britischen Soil Association.<\/p>\n<p>Im Glas hat der Whisky eine helle, gold-gelbe Farbe.<\/p>\n<p>In der Nase ist anfangs ganz leichter Rauch wahrnehmbar. Dazu gesellen sich Aromen, die mich an Heu und getrocknete Gr\u00e4ser erinnern. S\u00fc\u00dflichen Noten von Banane, Vanille und Malz. Zitrusfr\u00fcchte und prickelnde Sch\u00e4rfe.<\/p>\n<p>Im Mund ist der organische Benromach anfangs sehr s\u00fc\u00df und hat eine angenehme, cremige Konsistenz .<br \/>\nZucker und Vanille, Rauch, ein Hauch von dunkler Schokolade, recht kr\u00e4ftige bittere Aromen und ordentlich Pfeffer. Gegen Ende kommen frische Noten (Gras) hinzu.<\/p>\n<p>Der Abgang ist mittellang und bitter-s\u00fc\u00df. Eiche, Vanille und etwas Gras.<\/p>\n<p>Der Benromach Organic ist nicht schlecht und hat sein eigenes Profil, kann aber mit der 10-j\u00e4hrigen Standardabf\u00fcllung nicht mithalten.
