\"\"Mit grossem Staraufgebot inszenierte Robert Schwentke (“Die Frau des Zeitreisenden”, “Flightplan”) den Actionfilm “Red – \u00c4lter. H\u00e4rter. Besser”. Neben Helen Mirren, Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman und John Malkovich wurden auch Mary-Louise Parker, Richard Dreyfuss und Ernest Borgnine verpflichtet.<\/p>\n

Obwohl die Story \u00fcber pensionierte CIA Agenten\/Killer nicht als Highlight der Filmgeschichte zu bezeichnen ist, vermochte der Film doch von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute sehr gut zu unterhalten. Die Actionszenen sind brachialer als ich erwartet hatte und zeichnen sich vor allem durch viel Abwechslung aus. Gew\u00fcrzt wurde das Ganze mit einer nicht allzu aufdringlichen Brise Humor.<\/p>\n

Die Bildqualit\u00e4t ist sehr gut, bleibt aber ein wenig unter Top-Niveau. Der deutsche DTS-HD MA Ton ist daf\u00fcr ganz gro\u00dfartig und begeistert mit einer wuchtigen Soundkulisse und vielen beeindruckenden Surroundeffekten. Die Extras sind \u00fcberraschend umfangreich und sind durchaus sehenswert.<\/p>\n
