Einige der Resultate kann man im Rahmen der Contrasts-Reihe probieren. Der heute verkostete &#8220;Benromach Contrasts: Kiln Dried Oak&#8221; wurde 2012 destilliert und reifte in Virgin Oak F\u00e4ssern, die zuvor in einem Kiln (Ofen\/Trockenkammer) getrocknet wurden. Der Whisky wurde mit 46% abgef\u00fcllt.<\/p>\n<p>Als Erg\u00e4nzung dazu g\u00e4be es auch eine &#8220;Air Dried Oak&#8221; Variante. Benromach will damit zeigen, dass auch die Trocknung der F\u00e4sser einen Einfluss auf den Geschmack des Endproduktes hat.<\/p>\n<p>Im Glas ist der Single Malt goldfarben.<\/p>\n<p>In der Nase fruchtig mit Zitrone und hellen Beeren, Vanille und etwas Toffee, ein Hauch Lagerfeuer<\/p>\n<p>Im Mund fruchtig (rote Fr\u00fcchte), Malz und Vanille, Eiche, etwas Pfeffer und Minze.<\/p>\n<p>Der Abgang ist mittellang mit Eiche, Fr\u00fcchten und etwas Rauch<\/p>\n<p>Auch dieser Benromach hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt.
