– 2014 –<\/h3>\n

“Broken By Nature – Vol.1” was created in 2014 and is my personal tribute to the wonderful world of Progressive & Nu Skool Breaks. I collected this stuff in the early 2000s and used some of my favourite tracks and remixes in this set. For me this mix stood the test of time and is one of my favourite mixes I ever recorded.<\/p>\n

The set kicks off with the ethereal “Sunsicle” by MoMu and is immediately followed by the Fretwell Remix of their track “Hydergine”. “Served Cold” by Ghost World leads the path to Sasha’s epic remix of “Burma” which was released back in 2004 by Global Underground.<\/p>\n

Remixes by Chris Lake and His Boy Elroy are adding deep basslines and some groove to the mix before tension gets released by the wonderful ILS Remix of “Hayling” by FC Kahuna – one of my alltime favourites. A few tracks later the guys from Shiloh are doing their magic on Insight’s “Prophecy” which was originally released back in 1997. The next piece of music is a high-pitched version of Hawke’s “Vivos En La Muerte” which was part of Jonathan Lisles “Original Series: OS_0.2 ” mix. Still lovin’ it today (which is mid-2020 as I am writing these lines).<\/p>\n

The Marscruiser Remix of “Furball” and The False Prophet Mix of “Flow” are leading the way to a small a bit more danceable part of the set and one of my personal highlights – the mighty Dave London Remix of “Pray”. The synth-laden remix of “33 Rev” marks the beginning of the end and was produced by Blake Jarrell and the late Starkid. The final track is a last burst of energy. Dance your socks off and into the sunrise…<\/p>\n<\/div>
