Der Whisky hat keine Altersangabe, reift aber angeblich laut einigen im Internet gefundenen Informationen 14-17 Jahre. Grunds\u00e4tzlich erfolgt die Reifung anfangs in amerikanischen Wei\u00dfeichenf\u00e4ssern. Danach wird ein Teil in ehemaligen Tawny Portweinf\u00e4ssern umgef\u00fcllt. Am Ende werden die beiden unterschiedlich gereiften Whiskies wieder verm\u00e4hlt und mit 46,5% abgef\u00fcllt.<\/p>\n<p>Im Glas rotbraun mit einem kr\u00e4ftigen Rotstich.<\/p>\n<p>In der Nase viel Frucht mit roten Beeren, Rosinen, Pflaumen und Orangen. Etwas Vanille und mit der Zeit kr\u00e4ftiger werdende Toffeenoten. Bei fast geleertem Glas kam der Geruch von Z\u00fcndh\u00f6lzern zum Vorschein.<\/p>\n<p>Im Mund kr\u00e4ftig und fruchtig. S\u00fc\u00dflich herb mit Bitterschokolade und Eiche, Toffee und Zimt. W\u00e4rmendes und cremiges Mundgef\u00fchl. Nach einiger Zeit Milchschokolade.<\/p>\n<p>Der Abgang ist mittellang bis lang mit herben Fr\u00fcchten, Zimt und Pfeffer und trockenen Holznoten.<\/p>\n<p>Am n\u00e4chsten Tagen waren die Aromen von Toffee, Vanille und Schokolade im Glas.<\/p>\n<p>Dieser Dalmore hat mir gut geschmeckt.
