Der heute verkostete Woodford Reserve Double Oaked wird dreifach destilliert und reift danach in amerikanischen Eichenf\u00e4ssern. Im Anschluss erh\u00e4lt er ein Finish in einem frisch ausgebrannten Fass. Lt. Informationen im Netz besteht der Bourbon aus 72% Mais, 18% Roggen und 10% gem\u00e4lzter Gerste. Die Abf\u00fcllung erfolgt mit 43,2%.<\/p>\n<p>Im Glas dunkelgold mit einer Tendenz Richtung Kupfer.<\/p>\n<p>In der Nase s\u00fc\u00df mit Vanillenoten. Fruchtig mit Pfirsich und einem fast schon k\u00fcnstlich anmutenden Kirscharoma. Etwas Lack \u2013 aber nicht unangenehm und stechend.\u00a0 Bei fast geleertem Glas etwas Toffee und ein Kunststoffaroma.<\/p>\n<p>Im Mund bitters\u00fc\u00df mit Vanille, Kirsche. W\u00fcrzige Eiche, angebranntes Holz und Pfeffer.<\/p>\n<p>Der Abgang ist mittellang mit Fr\u00fcchten, Gew\u00fcrzen und trockener Eiche. Am Ende etwas Menthol.<\/p>\n<p>Am n\u00e4chsten Tag k\u00f6stliche Aromen von Milchschokolade und Toffee.<\/p>\n<p>Dieser Bourbon hat mir gut geschmeckt, hat meinen Geschmack aber in manchen Facetten nicht ganz getroffen.
