Dieser 17-j\u00e4hrige Mortlach wurde 1996 gebrannt und Anfang 2014 mit 54,6% abgef\u00fcllt. Ich konnte vor einiger Zeit noch ein Tasting-Sample dieser Abf\u00fcllung ergattern.<\/p>\n<p>Im Glas ist der Whisky goldfarben.<\/p>\n<p>In der Nase Sauerkirschen und Birne. Viel Vanille und Backpulver. Der Whisky ist auch in der Nase stark, aber nicht scharf.<\/p>\n<p>Im Mund kr\u00e4ftig mit viel Fr\u00fcchten. Wieder die s\u00e4uerlichen Sherryt\u00f6ne. W\u00e4rmend und cremig mit Pfeffer und trockenen Holznoten.<\/p>\n<p>Der Abgang ist mittellang (bis lang), s\u00fc\u00dflich, warm mit Birne und Pfeffer.<\/p>\n<p>Am n\u00e4chsten Tag waren intensive und s\u00fc\u00dfe Vanille- und Toffeearomen im Glas.<\/p>\n<p>Der Whisky hat mir gut geschmeckt, konnte aber nicht ganz an die anderen mir bekannten Mortlach Abf\u00fcllungen mithalten.
