Der Schwerpunkt des Films ist die langwierige Ermittlungsarbeit, die sich weit \u00fcber ein Jahrzehnt erstreckt. Die Produktion hat im vorliegenden &#8220;Director&#8217;s Cut&#8221; die beeindruckende L\u00e4nge von knapp \u00fcber 160 Minuten und obwohl der Film kaum Action Elemente enth\u00e4lt, bleibt die Spannung bis zum Schluss weitgehend ungebrochen. Robert Downey Jr. und Jake Gyllenhaal spielen ihre Hauptrollen ausgezeichnet und tragen wesentlich zum guten Gesamteindruck des Films bei.<\/p>\n<p>Das Bild von Zodiac gef\u00e4llt mir sehr gut und beeindruckt mit toller Sch\u00e4rfe und sehr hohem Detailgrad. Die Farben sind nicht nat\u00fcrlich und eher dezent gehalten. Gemeinsam mit einigen anderen Details sorgen sie aber f\u00fcr den passenden 70-iger Jahre Look. Der Ton ist grunds\u00e4tzlich in Ordnung. Alle Tonspuren sind in Dolby Digital 5.1 vorhanden und bieten keine au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Highlights. Auf dem UK Import gibt es auf jeden Fall eine vollwertige, deutsche Tonspur.
