Gemeinsam mit &#8220;Pulp Fiction&#8221; stellt der Film f\u00fcr mich bis heute den H\u00f6hepunkt von Tarantinos Schaffen dar. Neben dem grandiosen Harvey Keitel \u00fcberzeugen Tim Roth, Steve Buscemi, Michael Madsen und Chris Penn auf allen Ebenen. Der episodenhafte Erz\u00e4hltstil und die rohe Brutalit\u00e4t sollten ja auch in vielen sp\u00e4teren Filmen von Tarantino zu einem seiner Markenzeichen werden.<\/p>\n<p>Die Bildqualit\u00e4t des 17 Jahre alten Films ist \u00fcberraschend gut, kann aber nat\u00fcrlich mit modernen Produktionen in keinster Weise mithalten. Der deutsche DTS-HD High Resolution Ton ist etwas entt\u00e4uschend. Einerseits sind die Dialoge im Verh\u00e4ltnis zur Musik und den wenigen Effekten sehr leise abgemischt. Andererseits ist der Ton sehr frontlastig &#8211; streckenweise hat man den Eindruck, da\u00df \u00fcberhaupt nur der Center zum Einsatz kommt.
