Viele der Rollen sind mit Laien besetzt worden, um noch authentischere Szenen zu erschaffen. Irgendwo zwischen Spielfilm und Dokumentation, verfolgt Matteo Garrone parallel mehrere Handlungsstr\u00e4nge und h\u00fctet sich davor eine Wertung abzugeben &#8211; das wird ganz dem Zuschauer \u00fcberlassen. Der Film kommt g\u00e4nzlich ohne Musik aus, ein Umstand der die Intensit\u00e4t der Produktion nochmals erh\u00f6ht.<\/p>\n<p>Das Bild der DVD ist gut, hat aber immer wieder mit kleinen Unsch\u00e4rfen zu k\u00e4mpfen. Der Ton ist unglaublich realistisch und bietet sehr gute Dialogverst\u00e4ndlichkeit.
