Seine berufliche Erfolgslosigkeit kompensiert er mit jeder Menge Drogen, Alkohol und Frauen. Die Nachricht vom Tod seines einst besten Freundes ber\u00fchrt Joe zutiefst.<\/p>\n<p>An dieser Stelle nimmt Regisseur Baillie Walsh den Zuseher mit in Joe&#8217;s Vergangheit und schildert in einem ausgedehnten R\u00fcckblick etliche Jugenderlebnisse. Er erz\u00e4hlt von Joe&#8217;s erster Liebe, seiner Familie und seiner Beziehung zum Verstorbenen. Obwohl die Schauspieler durchwegs \u00fcberzeugen und die Geschichte kaum nennenswerte Schw\u00e4chen hat, konnte mich der Film nicht wirklich in seinen Bann ziehen. Ich hatte immer wieder den Eindruck, dass in der Geschichte der ber\u00fchmt ber\u00fcchtigte rote Faden fehlt. Besondere Erw\u00e4hnung verdient allerdings der tolle Glam-Rock Soundtrack, der einige der stimmungsvollsten Szenen des Films ganz alleine zu tragen vermochte.<\/p>\n<p>Die Bildqualit\u00e4t der Blu-ray ist gut und der deutsche Dolby Digital Ton ist als solides Mittelma\u00df zu bezeichnen.<\/p>\n<p><b>Film: 6\/10<br \/>\nBild: 8\/10<br \/>\nTon: 7\/10 <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Reviewdatum: 1.
