Der Film wurde von Richard Attenborough produziert und in Szene gesetzt und z\u00e4hlte Anfang der 80-iger zu den aufwendigsten Produktionen der Filmgeschichte. 27 Jahre nach der Urauff\u00fchrung erschien der Klassiker nun auf Blu-ray. Nach 191 Minuten, die ich getrost als spannend und \u00e4u\u00dferst interessant bezeichnen darf, kann ich diesen Film bedingungslos weiterempfehlen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Bildqualit\u00e4t ist f\u00fcr einen Film aus den fr\u00fchen 80-igern sehr gut, allerdings machen sich Unsch\u00e4rfen, schwache Kontraste und ein teilweise sehr unruhiges Bild deutlich bemerkbar. Der deutsche Dolby True HD Ton ist altersbedingt sehr brustschwach und klingt nur aus den Frontkan\u00e4len.
