20/07/2002 - lineup : jay, observer
the first summer session is over.... it was a beautiful evening with perfect weather and i think everything worked
according to plan. the feedback and the comments i received so far have been overwhelming :-) thanks to everyone!
the session started at 21:00 with an one hour warmup set by dj jay. first panic arised after 20 minutes when the power
went down for 10 minutes. after solving the problem we had no more technical problems trough the event. at 22:00 dj jay
started the evening with a progressive set. after two hours things changed towards pumpin' tech-house and progressive
trance. police showed up around midnight causing no further problems at that time.... at 1:30 dj observer took over and
played a great trancey set till 3:30. dj jay continued to play until the sunrise at 6:00. the police showed up again at
3:45 and forced us to turn down the volume of the sound system to a very low level :-(
nontheless we enjoyed the sunrise (see the photos section below) with some nice tunes - after that chilled a little bit
and started with the deconstruction at 7:30.
